WAS AMERICAN NATION FOUNDED ON THE JUDEO-CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY?

The religious rights, a major voting and pressure group in the Republican Party of America have attempted by all means and at all cost for many decades to rewrite the history of the United States for their own political gains or interests by publicly, loudly and openly promoting a false and a distorted account of the history of how America evolved into a nation of immigrants in 1776. These religious rights claimed that America is a Christian nation or a nation that was founded on the biblical principles.

An objective perusal of the three most important legal documents that established America as a sovereign or independent nation from Britain shows that these claims from the religious rights are totally false, inaccurate in outlook and a very distorted historical account of the American nation. The three most important documents upon which America was founded are the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. These legal documents do not show any close resemblance to the Torah (Old Testament Bible) that was given by God to Moses at mount Sinal for the nation of Israel or to the New Testament Bible including the words and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, this nation which remains the most prosperous nation in the entire 6,000 years of the documented human history was primarily founded on the principle of human freedom or liberty by the two distinct groups of people:(i) The politically and the religiously oppressed and persecuted peoples of Europe who escaped from their oppressors in Europe and from the other places in the world to America, in order to enjoy this available human freedom or liberty in the new American nation. (ii) The peoples from all over the world who were looking for new political freedom and economic opportunities in the new land called America.
