"NIGERIA:A NATION WHERE HER CITIZENS ARE THEIR OWN PRIVATE GOVERNMENTS"

The Federal Government of Nigeria is empowered by the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria to control and to collect all the revenues that come from the Nigeria's natural or mineral resources and from all the taxes from incomes, businesses, corporations and excise and importations. This constitution also guides the Federal Government of Nigeria on what to do with these collected revenues.

The primary responsibilities of the Federal Government of Nigeria as it is stated in the constitution is to guarantee the safety of the life and the properties of all her citizens and residents. The second most important responsibility of the Federal Government of Nigeria is to put in place and to enforce the rule of law and order throughout Nigeria as well as the provision of the basic social services and utilities, such as water, electricity, effective policing and trash collection to all her citizens and residents.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has failed today, completely and woefully in all its primary or basic responsibilities to Nigerians as stated in the constitution of Nigeria. The height of this irresponsibility has left all Nigerians without any other options or alternatives, but to step in and then become their own private governments by using their own monies and resources to provide for themselves the much needed security and social services that this Federal Government of Nigeria that is heavily riddled with the massive official corruption and the mismanagement of state funds could not do or provide for Nigerians.

It is only in Nigeria that the Nigerian citizens are forced to provide their own private security (Maigadi) for themselves instead of the inefficient Nigerian Police Force. It is only in Nigeria that the her citizens are forced to provide their own electricity by buying their own electricity generators instead of the failed PHCN that is in charge of power generation in Nigeria. It is only in Nigeria that the her citizens are forced to provide their own water for themselves by digging boreholes and wells in their homes and business centers instead of the Ministry of Water Resources that is empowered with the responsibility of providing water for all Nigerians.
