It is very shocking to me personally and it is also totally unbelievable to me also whenever I read comments from the various social networking sites and from these educated Nigerians who believe that the solution to the Nigeria's problems is for all Nigerians to simply forget their major differences and work together as a nation.
Do these guys even use their own brains to think at all when they attempt to analysis these huge domestic challenges and then proffer their own best practical solutions that can make Nigeria as a nation to start to work fairly for all Nigerians from every tribe, religion and region? They say that America is more ethnically and racially complex and she is more diverse than Nigeria, yet it is working as a nation for all Americans and her residents from all races, ethnicities, religions and cultures.
Have these guys ever studied the complex nature of the history of America as a nation that is still moving daily toward a more perfect union? Will America as a nation be working today without convening an independent Sovereign National Conference of her original 13 colonies where they unanimously produced the two most important legal documents (the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence) that are the only Bible that guides America as a nation for 236 years now?
This Bible is based on the principles of equality of all men, life, liberty, private ownership of properties and the pursuits of happiness? Will America be working today without the same rule of law that is firmly in place for the leaders and the led as well as the supremacy of the US constitution in the governance of this union?
Will America be working today without the principle of representative democracy (one man, one vote) in place that is based of the separation of powers between the three tiers of the America government? Will America be working today without the principle of the devolution of powers and the confederacy of its 50 states, territories and the thousands of her counties or local governments that practice resource control, community policing, state/local taxes and laws?
