IS THE AMERICA'S CIA PREDICTION ABOUT THE END OF NIGERIA A PROPHESY OF DOOM?

The American foreign secret service agency that is known as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in its yearly report few years ago predicted the final end of the Nigerian nation based on the deep internal crises that have dominated the life of Nigeria as a nation since her independence from Britain in 1960. The CIA is not a prophet of doom that is set up primarily by the American government to predict the final end of the nations around the world. Their yearly security reports on the state of the nations around the world are based on the research work that are done by the various experts in the different Washington, DC based think-tank organizations, as well as the many intelligent reports that they  gathered worldwide on the different internal or external crises in the nations of the world as well as the raw data that are collected directly by the CIA field/station officers around the world.

Nigeria as a nation cannot continue to defile the trends of the human history. Historically, many nations had emerged in the past and many other nations had also broken-up in the past. The newest African nation of Southern Sudan is a recent example. The whole world was shocked in 1990 when one of the two super-power nations known at that time as the USSR broke up into 15 smaller countries. If what is going on in Nigeria at the moment are left unaddressed, they could point the future of the Nigerian nation to the same fate that had befallen other nations in the past that had different and similar internal and external crises like the present day Nigeria.
