"THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF THE CONCEPT:THE OMNISCIENCE OF GOD"

WHAT IS THE LITERARY MEANING OF THE BIBLICAL CONCEPT THAT IS KNOWN TO MANY TODAY AS THE OMNISCIENCE OF GOD IN ALL REALITY? This is one of the divine attributes of God, the creator of the entire universe. OMNI is from the Greek word, which means “everything”, “comprehensive”, “simultaneous” and "infinitely". Science is the word that comes from the Latin word "scientia" which means "knowledge". Omniscience literally means "all knowledge". it implies that no knowledge is left behind, missing, hidden, not known, unknown, inadequate or partially known from God.

THE OMNISCIENCE OF GOD means that God knows everything totally, completely, fully, not partially and then at the same time without studying anything in order to know everything. Omniscience is the God's divine capacity to know everything infinitely, in all the entire creation or the whole universe from the eternity past into the eternity future at the same time without studying them in order to know them fully. God is the epitome of all knowledge.

There is nothing happens in the entire universe past, present or future, visible or invisible, physical or spiritual, real or imaginary, minute or huge, microscopic or macroscopic that takes God by surprise. He knows the outcomes, the full details and the origins of all things physical and spiritual, visible and invisible, real and imaginary, including the deepest thought, thinking, plans or the hidden secrets of the human's heart.

All humans are completely limited in their own knowledge, they know partially, not fully, they study to know. Humans can only focus on a very tiny branch of the vast knowledge at a time, human knowledge is acquired gradually over a time period spent on studying or observing. Human knowledge comes through the five human senses and natural observations. Humans will never know everything, their capacity to know is too limited.

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain - Psalm 139:2-6.
Who has understood the mind of the LORD,
or instructed him as his counselor?
Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him,
and who taught him the right way?
Who was it that taught him knowledge
or showed him the path of understanding? - Isaiah 40:13-14.
