How many American citizens or her residents will have to die prematurely again before the Washington politicians will work together and across those party ideological lines in order to put an effective national law in place that will finally control, regulate and monitor gun ownership requirements in America?
There are estimated 300 million different types of guns in the hands of Americans in a country with 315 million living souls. It is easier today in 2012 in America to buy any gun, including those assault rifles or machine guns for private use than to buy a prescription drug to treat a common cold from a pharmacy. More than 10,000 preventable deaths occur every year in America from the violent use of these privately owned guns.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) continues to stand against any proposed regulations to control gun ownership in America including those assault rifles by putting their corporate profits above the sanctity of human precious life that has no duplicate or replacement when taken unexpectedly in the hands of these chronic murderers.
The only realistic method that is firstly and humanly practicable, and secondly will reduce the number of these preventable deaths in the hands of these killers is to have in place an effective gun control law that is coupled with those tough requirements for gun ownership in United States.
