There are two practicable ways for most Nigerians today in Nigeria to easily or quickly enrich themselves financially and materially without working for a monthly pay check or running a business outfit for profit making. (i) The first avenue for making a lot of money illegally in Nigeria today is through politics, political patronage, holding public elected positions or political appointments. These avenues allow these rogues politicians, political appointees and public elected officials to have unresisted, unregulated and unlimited access to the public money that comes directly from our nation's enormous oil wealth and revenues.
(ii) The second easy access to the dirty money or the questionable wealth and riches is through the instrument of religion. Many pastors/bishops of these Churches intentionally manipulate the biblical truths of the Bible for their own financial gains by collecting the tithes and the offerings of their gullible, vulnerable and ignorant followers for their own primary and personal benefits or uses. These pastors/bishops then give back false hope and unrealistic promises of financial wealth and good health in return for all these givings. The Imans and the koranic teachers do the same thing too in the name of Allah or the religion of Islam to exploit their dedicated disciples of their money. These religious exploitations also go on unabated with the traditional healers and Babalawos who also exploit their own followers too in the same similar manner like the way the mainstream big religions do on a larger scale.
