"PAT UTOMI OF NIGERIA IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST POLITICAL OPPORTUNISTS IN NIGERIA TODAY"

Pat Utomi has proposed a two-party system for all Nigerians. According to this political guru in his wisdom and judgement, the two political parties should be the PDP and the ACN respectively. Pat Utomi then went further by advising all Nigerians to join either of the two political parties (PDP and ACN).

I want Pat Utomi to answer the following questions for the tens of millions of Nigerians that he suggested to to join either the PDP or the ACN:(i) Does Pat Utomi believe without any doubt in his heart that the PDP as a ruling party in power in Nigeria is the best thing that has happened to the Nigerian nation politically since 1999 to date? (ii) Is Pat Utomi not a secret supporter or admirer of the PDP in power? (iii) What are the main ideological differences between these two political parties in the governance of Nigeria in all truth, honesty and reality since 1999 to date that Utomi approved them for all Nigerians? (iv) What is ACN doing today as a political party in power in the Western Nigeria that is so unique and exemplary that the PDP does not do the same nationally?

Both political parties in their formations and structures were never people-oriented nor grass root based movements. These two political parties were both built around politics of ethnicity, regionalism, Godfatherism, political personalities instead of political and economic ideologies.

ACN as a political party thrives on the political legacies of the Yoruba sage and hero, the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and the June 12, 1993 presidential election that the late Chief MKO Abiola won, but was later cancelled. ACN today is Bola Tinubu and Bola Tinubu is ACN. The PDP as a political was built on the political coalition that was known at that time as the G-34 that was led by Alex Ekuweme, a former Nigerian civilian vice president with the primary purpose of protecting the political interests of the core Northern Nigeria and the Eastern region of Nigeria.

The recent deregistration of Pat Utomi's unviable political party by INEC left him politically naked, politically vulnerable and without any political covering for his political nakedness. In order for Pat Utomi to continue to be politically relevant in Nigeria and to be able to continue to promote his own political thoughts and ambition in Nigeria, then Pat Utomi's only viable political option for now is the ACN in 2012 and beyond.
