"NIGERIA'S NATIONAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS AT THE STONE AGE LEVEL TODAY"

Nigeria as a nation in 2012 is the world's 6th largest producer and exporter of oil. She has made over $700 billion in the last 40 years from the oil revenues alone, but today in 2012, she has nothing on the ground to justify or to show for this enormous oil wealth. No teaching hospitals in the whole Nigeria today are either modernized or equipped to the 21st century international standards and levels.

Nigeria's leaders and her top government officials are always going to the hospitals in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, UAE, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India for their health issues and wasting the nation's hard earned foreign currencies on these foreign trips.

On the other hand, the tens of millions of the ordinary Nigerian citizens who cannot afford these highly expensive foreign trips are left to die cheaply in the hands of the incompetent health workers and outdated hospital technologies in Nigeria. But Nelson Mandela, the former South African President has never been flown abroad for all his health issues to date. Is Nigeria truly the so called giant of Africa?
