"MEDICAL SCIENCE ADVANCES AND THE SUPREMACY OF GOD"

Religions and the complex nature of our universe both teach us that there is a supreme being who designed and created the whole universe. This super-being according to the religious teachings is all-sovereign, all-knowing, all-powerful and all-present. Religions further teach us that God created us and also endowed us with all the attributes of our personality and humanity. Religions further tell us that this God has no beginning of days (origin of life or existence) or the end of life (finality) and with this God, nothing is impossible for this God to do in his entire created universe.

Man has also attempted for generations to understand the natural world in which he lives through his personal observations and the using of his five human senses of seeing, smelling, feeling, hearing and tasting to investigate and to gather new information or knowledge about his environment. These five human senses have allowed mankind to be able to find some answers to the questions that the nature or the creation puts across to him or throws at him. This new found knowledge and its practical applications have further allowed humanity to be able to make the environment in which he lives better or more prosperous by his ability to solve some of the real life problems or challenges of nature or humanity.

The field of medical science was born as a result of the desire of mankind or humanity to find solutions to the sicknesses and diseases that have devastated its populations unabated for generations. The advances that were made in the field of medical science have given mankind new insights and knowledge into the origins and the effects of sicknesses and diseases of mankind and how to treat or to cure some of these human infirmities in real life which may prolong the existence of human life on earth.

Many today in this 21st century human universe due to their religious beliefs and lack of scientific knowledge find it very difficult and totally unrealistic to accept that bacterias, viruses, fungi, protozoans, genetics heredity, individual lifestyle of living, lack of access to nutritional foods and clean water, modern health care and sanitation are primarily and directly responsible for most of the human sicknesses and diseases today. But these religious zealots will blame their sources primarily on demons, witches, wizards and some even believe that religious prayers alone can be used effectively to cure or to heal all types of human sicknesses and diseases no matter their degrees of severities. The truth is that there must be a balanced approach to these issues in real life when they occur, the medical science today in the 21st century human world does not have all the answers to all the various types of the human sicknesses and diseases, the same way that religious prayers are not also the one solution to everything in this life including the various types of human infirmities
