"AMERICA:A SOCIETY THAT IS BUILT ON THE DOCTRINE OF THE SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS"

No any other country that is known to mankind today and in the last 6,000 years of the recorded or the documented human history has succeeded in building at least one-tenth of the present day America's wealth and power in terms of her military might, scientific innovations, technological advances, media empire, sports, entertainment and arts despite their known abundant human and material resources. America as a nation has given three important technological innovations, namely, automobile, aviation and internet that have changed the entire human universe in the 20th and in the 21st centuries respectively. America's economy is the largest in the world today with a yearly GDP of about $17 trillion. One-third of the world's automobiles, dollar-rated billionaires, global energy consumption and research and development are in America. The American nation is the most diverse nation in the world, the true melting pot and she is also the largest nation of immigrants for all the races, nationalities, cultures and religious faiths worldwide. America's democracy, military bases, diplomatic missions, multinational corporations, Christian missionaries, music, movies, fashions and her way of life can be found today in all the four corners of the human earth. The wages and salaries that are paid to American workers remain the highest for all types of professions, careers, skills and occupations worldwide.

Why are estimated 3 million Americans homeless today in the midst of this huge prosperity? Why are 32 million children go to bed every night with their empty stomachs? Why are millions of Americans on the food stamps or the government welfare programs in the most prosperous nation in the entire human history? Why are tens of millions of Americans unable to buy their own health insurance in a nation with the most advanced medical science? Why are tens of millions of Americans working fulltime, but they are still poor and cannot make their ends to meet? Is America Dream truly accessible to all Americans today and in all reality? Why are millions of Americans living in poverty in the land of the true economic opportunities today and in a country with an annual GDP of about $17 trillion? Is the so called economic upward mobility still possible today in America in 2013? Why is this American Dream eluding millions today from all backgrounds? Why are many Americans still experiencing the American nightmare instead of the the American Dream today?

The answer to these many interesting questions that I have raised above can only be understood in the light of the political system of the people representative democracy in America or simply the freedom of human choice and the economic system of the free market enterprise that is based on capitalism that America has operated to date as a nation since her establishment. These political and economic systems combined together give every America an equal shot at the American Dream in theory, but in all reality, it is a game of the survival of the fittest. The strong or the wise wins this race in practice and the weak loses it at the end of the day. This American Dream will continue to be accessible to all Americans theoretically, but will only be attained by the strong Americans in all reality. These victories that are won by some Americans as well as those losses of the other Americans will put every American competitor for the American Dream in his or her rightful place in one of the three levels of the America's socioeconomic status, namely, the rich class, the middle class and the poor class.
