"UNDERSTANDING THE WHOLE PLAN AND THE PURPOSE OF GOD FOR MANKIND THROUGH THE BIBLE"

The whole Bible was written in dispensations that covered the 66 books of the Bible and are divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament respectively. A dispensation is a period in the human history that is based on the available divine revelations or guidances of God that were made available and relevant for that particular era in the human world. The biblical term covenant means an agreement between two partners (divine and humanity) and the word testament in the biblical language means a divine plan or a divine program of God for mankind.

In the Old Testament or the Old Covenant, the same God who is the creator of the heavens and earth revealed himself to the entire nation of Israel through Moses the law giver and the prophets. The kings, priests and the prophets were the mediators between God and the nation of Israel under the Old Covenant.

In the the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the Book of the Acts of the Apostles of the New Testament, the same God again revealed himself to the whole humanity (Jews and Gentiles) through Jesus Christ his beloved son who is the true Lord and Savior of the human race.

In the epistles or the letters of the New Testament, the same God once again revealed the entire Christian way of life or the whole Christian journey of faith to the body of Christ or to the Church of the living God on earth so that every Christian in this world can grow in grace and in the full knowledge of Jesus Christ until they all reach the realm of the spiritual maturity and can all fulfill their personal own destinies in this life with a life that fully glories the Lord Jesus Christ in this world.

  • "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" - John 1:17.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" - John 3:16.
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" - Hebrews 1:1-2.
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen" - 2 Peter 3:18.
