IS TRUE CHRISTIANITY ALL ABOUT USING GOD AND GOD ONLY?

What is the primary purpose of Christianity or the Christian faith in this life? Why do we become a Christian in the first instance? What do we gain or benefit personally for being a Christian? What do we stand to lose or suffer for following Jesus Christ in this life? What does the Christian faith promises you in this life for being a Christian? Is Christianity all about meeting our daily bread and butter?
Is Christianity all about God I need this, I want this or God do this for me? What do God except from us to do for him also as Christians? How can we truly know this God that we profess and be able to follow his perfect will and expectations properly in this world? Why did Jesus Christ die for mankind as the perfect sacrificial Lamb of God? What are our fundamental daily responsibilities to God as as Christians?
The only surest or the most certain thing that the biblical Christianity or the Christian faith promises any Christian in this life that will never or can never fail is the eternal life or the everlasting life that comes through an individual personal faith in the person and the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary 2,000 years ago. Christianity or the Christian faith does not guarantee any Christian in this present world a daily life that is totally free from the regular problems and the daily challenges of this present life in all honesty, reality and truth.
A true, genuine, mature and sincere Christian can still be very poor materially and financially, sick in his or her physical human body, dies prematurely, remains unemployed, becomes childless, suffers life disasters, goes through severe persecutions by others, rejected or maligned by others, tortured, imprisoned or killed for his or his Christian faith, deceived, cheated, exploited by others, makes wrong important choices or the major life decisions with hefty consequences, a typical case of academic failure or faces many life different setbacks. Finally, no matter what we go through in this life as a Christian, whether those things are pleasant or unpleasant do not matter. The all-sufficient grace and the mercy of God the Father will surely see us through in all our life tribulations as Christians. In all things things we are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 8:35-39.
