(i) El-Rufai wrote this book as a major insider, a first-class eye witness and a key player in the last administration of the former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo from 1999 to 2007 that ushered in the 4th attempt at democracy in Nigeria.
(ii) El-Rufai in his latest book has decided to put his love for the Nigerian nation, the 160 million ordinary citizens and the future of Nigeria above any living or dead human personality, including the former President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria and members of his cabinet or inner caucus in power.
(iii) El-Rufai has also decided to educate the ordinary Nigerians on what exactly went on inside the back rooms of power in Nigeria at Aso Rock villa for those 8 solid years at that time including the major government policies, the former President Obasanjo's personal decisions and his failed political ambition at the 3rd term bid for the presidency of Nigeria that led us as a nation to the sudden emergency of the presidencies of of late YarA'dua and Goodluck respectively. These two very weak and mediocre leaders are the worst accidents in the political life of the Nigerian nation today. Nigeria as a nation has never remained the same with these two unprepared and novice men in power.
(iv) This new controversial book will serve as a stern warning to the present leaders and the future leaders of Nigeria that their actions in the corridors of powers are being documented and recorded by others in their inner caucus for history and posterity. I use this medium to say a very big congratulation to Mallam El-Rufai for his new book and for his boldness and audacity to speak truth to powers in Nigeria through this book that I am ordering right away once it is available internationally.
