"NIGERIA AT 52:EL-RUFAI'S NEW BOOK CONTINUES TO RAISE DUSTS IN THE POLITICAL CIRCLES"

Why are some Nigerians fuming in their personal angers and raising unnecessary political dusts about the controversial book titled the "Accidental Public Servant" that was written by Mallam El-Rufai about the government of the former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo in which this author was an insider, a powerful figure, a very active member and a public defender of that government from 1999 to 2007?

The hard truth on this issue is that Olusegun Obasanjo and his personal roles or legacies in the government  and leadership in Nigeria are not bigger than the present Nigerian nation and her future. All Nigerians who were outside the back rooms in that government need to know what went on inside that government they elected twice to rule Nigeria who also implemented various policies that affected all Nigerians at home and in diaspora directly, indirectly, positively and negatively.

Since there are always two different and distinct sides to all the stories of the human events under the sun, I challenge Olusegun Obasanjo and his political sons or beneficiaries to put their own pens to paper also and write their own books or memoirs for all Nigerians to read their own perspectives on this government or the legacies of Olusegun Obasanjo instead of making El-Rufai the political sacrificial lamb of 2013.
