IS PRESIDENT JONATHAN GOODLUCK THE TRUE MESSIAH FOR THE NIGERIAN NATION?

I am so ashamed of myself here in Washington, DC after watching the CNN interview that featured President Jonathan Goodluck of Nigeria that was done by Christiane Amanpour, the CNN's chief foreign affairs correspondent, the host of CNN International's nightly interview program "Amanpour" and the global affairs anchor of ABC News.

Is GEJ the best presidential material that Nigeria can show today to the entire human universe in a country of 160 million highly gifted and heavily endowed souls in all areas of human endeavors? This President of Nigeria to me and in my own personal judgement of him as well as in my own assessment of his policies can be said to be one of the worst political accidents of history in the Nigerian presidency. I can boldly and publicly say that JEG is not the expected Messiah that will take Nigeria to her true greatness in all honesty, reality and truth.

This president demonstrated a very high level of mediocrity, lack of personal confidence and incoherency as well as lack of knowledge in his responses to the interview questions. This man has no clear-cut direct answers, plans or any solid government policies in place that will be needed to address the five biggest challenges that face Nigerian nation today which are:the national security threat of the Boko Haram terrorist group, the unabated massive culture of the official corruption including the rampant oil bunkering, the mismanagement of the Nigeria's state funds by her leaders and officials, the rapidly growing rate of poverty amongst Nigerians and the inability of the government of JEG to provide electricity for Nigerians.

The political year 2015 is just around the corner again for another presidential election in Nigeria. Will JEG seek for a reelection in the midst of his very poor performance as the President of Nigeria? Has GEJ made Nigeria of today better than the Nigeria that was officially handed over to him in 2011? Will the same politically sentimental and ignorant Nigerians who voted for GEJ in 2011 and not for the PDP to have a regime change in a country that does not have independent candidates for all elective offices repeat their worst political mistake again in 2015? Only time will tell.
