WHY DO WE NEED A SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN NIGERIA NOW?

(i) The 450 ethnic nationalities, many religious faiths and cultural groups that had lived politically autonomous from one another for centuries as caliphates, empires and kingdoms were forced into a new colonial nation that was named Nigeria at the amalgamation of the Northern and the Southern protectorates by the British colonial authority in 1914. Nigerians were never allowed to hold a referendum, a constitutional conference or have any political input into their new terms of national engagements in 1914.

(ii) The whereabout of the official amalgamation document that was used to form Nigeria in 1914 by the British colonial authority is not known since 1914. No living or dead Nigerians have ever seen this document in the public. No Nigerian either dead or alive knew the whole terms in this document.

(iii) Prominent Nigerians who are either dead or alive laid a strong claim to the fact that a clause exist in that amalgamation document that allows any of the disgruntled region of Nigeria to break away from Nigeria after the first 100 years of this new nation. The 100th year anniversary of this amalgamation will be on the January 1, 2014.

(iv) Nigeria today is showing all the terminal symptoms of a failing state. National poverty is over 80%, unemployment is over 50%, the government cannot provide security of life and properties, the nation's population is growing out of control, the national infrastructures, social services and the education systems are all old, inadequate and collapsing. The massive unabated official corruption is the order of the day as well as mismanagement of our state resources by our officials. The rule of law is now replaced by the rule of lawlessness and brutality.

(v) The last voting patterns in the presidential election of April 2011 showed clearly that Nigeria is not one nation in all reality, but a heavily divided nation along ethnic, geopolitical and religious lines which depicted the original Southern and Northern protectorates before they were amalgamated together in 1914 by the British.

(vi) Even Lord Lugard the first British Governor General who set up Nigerian nation and the principal founding fathers of Nigeria that fought for her independence in 1960 who had the major universities, streets, public buildings, national currencies and postage stamps named in their memories in Nigeria today did not believe in one Nigeria from the onset and from their various comments about Nigeria that are below:
Lord Lugard:“The North and the South are like oil and water, they will never mix.” Yet he went ahead and amalgamated them.

Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa:“The Southern people who are swamping into this region daily in such large numbers are really intruders; we don’t want them and they are not welcome here in the North. Since 1914, the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country. But the people are different in every way, including religion, custom, language and aspirations… we in the North take it that Nigeria unity is only a British intention for the country they created. IT IS NOT FOR US”.

Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo:“Nigeria is only a geographical expression to which life was given by the diabolical amalgamation of 1914, that amalgamation will EVER remain the most painful injury a British Government inflicted on Southern Nigeria”.

Al-Hajji Sir Ahmadu Bello:“The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate from our great grandfather, Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the south as conquered territories and never allow them to have control of their future.”

Retired General Yakubu Gowon:“Suffice it to say that putting all considerations to the test, political, economic as well as social, the basis of unity is not there.”

Is Nigeria not more divided today than in 1914? Are those caliphates, kingdoms, empires and their internal boundaries that were officially eliminated in 1914 by the amalgamation of the Northern and Southern protectorates to form Nigeria not rapidly forming back again almost 100 years later? Do Nigerians today see themselves first and foremost as Nigerians or as ethnic nationals, Christians, Muslims, traditionalists or pagans? Are MASSOB, OPC, MEND, Boko Haram and the other ethnic, religious and cultural groups across the length and breath of Nigeria today not the new 21st century caliphates, kingdoms and empires that were believed to have been finally laid to rest in 1914 by Lord Lugard?

In conclusion:what is the way forward for Nigeria in this 21st human universe? I believe 100% that the present day Nigeria that was formed in 1914 was structurally deficient. Nigeria will never work without holding an independent Sovereign National Conference that will decide the new terms of engagement for her 450 ethnic nationalities, many religious faiths and cultures who were fully exempted by Britain and Lord Lugard in the formation of Nigeria in 1914.

"THE THREE HUMAN FORCES THAT KEPT NIGERIANS TOGETHER FOR 99 YEARS"

Is Nigeria a supernatural divine creation of God that can never fail or collapse as a human nation? What is the secret that has kept Nigeria's 386 ethnic nationalities and her major religious groups together despite the decades of her deep national crises including a brutal Biafran genocidal war? The forces that have kept Nigeria together to date are all humans and not God. (i). These human forces are the British colonial masters that used the divide and the rule political system from 1914 to 1960 to keep Nigeria intact. (ii). The military dictators also succeeded in keeping Nigeria together through their draconian decrees that were backed up with the use of the brutal military force and oil money for 30 years. (iii). The heavily corrupt politicians are keeping Nigerians together today through their politics of election rigging, politics of ethnicity, politics of religious division, the massive sharing of the nation's oil wealth and the political offices amongst themselves across the Nigeria's major ethnic groups, geopolitical zones and her religious faiths for a total of 23 years combined together in the different democratic dispensations in Nigeria from 1960 to date.

Nigeria was never a divine supernatural creation of God in all ramifications. The British colonial authority realized in the late 1800s that it was not economically viable, economical sustainable and financially profitable to run the Northern protectorate as an independent colony with her history of yearly budget deficit. The Southern protectorate enjoyed a yearly budget surplus, with a free access to the Atlantic ocean that promoted her exporting and importing businesses thereby making her to be economically viable to the then United Africa Company (UAC) that was in charge of the Southern protectorate.

Britain in 1914 through their Governor General Lord Lugard who was in charge of the Northern protectorate was directed from England to officially amalgamate both the Northern and the Southern protectorates together for the economic interests of the then British empire. This political amalgamation or marriage gave birth to a new nation that was named as Nigeria without any single political input, referendum or contributions from the new nation's 386 ethnic nationalities, many religious faiths and cultural groups who were all politically autonomous, historically distinct, culturally different and socially diverse from one another for many centuries as caliphates, kingdoms and empires. The British was able to keep this highly diverse nation intact from 1914-1960 by using the political system of divide and rule.

Nigeria became an independent sovereign nation on October 1, 1960 and she has been ruled at the various times in her 53 years as a nation by the military dictators and the democrat governments. The military dictators have ruled Nigeria for about 30 years out of her 52 years as an independent nation and the democratic governments have also ruled Nigeria for 23 years to date. The heavily corrupt and the lawlessness military dictators kept all the Nigeria's 386 ethnic nationalities, religious faiths and cultural groups together for 30 years by using brutal military force of intimidation and suppressions that were both backed by their draconian decrees and the oil money.

The politicians have also kept Nigerians together today despite the major differences amongst the Nigeria's ethnic nationalities and religious groups through the use of the mechanism of electoral frauds to win elections and the massive unabated official culture of corruption of sharing of our oil wealth, political offices and those highly inflated contracts amongst themselves across all the 6 geopolitical regions of Nigeria. This political marriage of 1914 has never truly worked for the full benefits of all these 386 ethnic nationalities and the religious groups in Nigerian nation for the last 99 years of our nationhood. Practically speaking, there are only two viable political options left to address the Nigerian project that has failed to work for 99 years and one deadly end is also on the table for now.

The first political solution to the failing Nigerian nation is to establish a confederal system of government through an independent Sovereign National Conference of all the ethnic nationalities, religious faiths and pressure groups in Nigeria that will officially determine the new political terms of our national engagement as a nation. The second political solution to this huge issue is the legal secession or the official breaking up of Nigeria through a Sovereign National Conference or a referendum that will be supervised by the United Nations which could be very similar to the one that was done successfully in Sudan that divided the former troubled African nation of Sudan recently into two independent nations of Sudan and South Sudan respectively that are now living peaceful and side by side in 2013. If one political options are not put in place, Nigerian nation will continue to fail and a civil war may be inevitable which may end up is assisting the breaking up of Nigeria into smaller independent nations. Time will surely tell.

WHAT IS ETERNAL SALVATION OR EVERLASTING LIFE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?

The entire New Testament Bible was written in the Koine Greek and "Soteria" is the Koine Greek word for eternal salvation or everlasting life. Soteria is an all-encompassing vocabulary word or term that depicts many things in one, such as the deliverance (from sin, Satan and sinful nature or Adamic sinful nature), preservation (saved and to be kept alive for God's glory), safety (kept away from evils), eternal justification (becomes God's righteous one through your faith alone in Jesus Christ alone), sanctification (set apart and transforms gradually through the intake of God's word into the full image of Jesus Christ in this present life) and healing or sound health. Are you eternally saved or not?

Eternal salvation or the everlasting life is not a clear conscience, a spiritual education, a biblical knowledge, a life of morality, an emotional experience that is deep, an act of worship, joining a local Church, holding a leadership roles in a local Church, fasting, praying, paying your tithes and offerings to your Church or pastor, baptisms, good works, doing humanitarian activities and reading the Scriptures daily as a way of life. Eternal salvation or everlasting life is simply your FAITH alone in the person and the finished work of JESUS CHRIST alone.

"THE POLITICS OF COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM IN THE OBAMA'S PRESIDENCY"

America is a true melting pot in the human universe of our time and she remains a nation of immigrants that represent the most racially, ethnically, culturally and religiously diverse country in the entire world. People from all walks of life have been coming to America from all over the world for the last hundreds of years looking for a personal bite from the American dream and her vast opportunities in every field of the human endeavors. America remains a nation of laws despite opening her doors very wide to immigrants from all over the world.

Today in 2013, it is estimated that about 11 million undocumented people live in America illegally. How did these individuals enter into America? What is wrong with the America's present immigration laws that left these 11 million people behind? Who benefits from illegal immigration in America today? How do these illegal immigrant survive in America without the official documentations? Why is President Barack Obama interested in a comprehensive immigration reform in the second term of his presidency? Why is the Republican and the Democrat members of the United States Congress jointly interested and working together on a comprehensive immigration reform in 2013  almost 7 years later after the former United States President George Bush Jr first sent an immigration bill to the then United States Congress?

The first category of these illegal immigrants are estimated to be about 40% of the 11 million illegal immigrants in America. They came into America with issued temporary visas as tourists, international students, religious workers, temporary workers, refugees and asylees from the America's embassies and consulates abroad. The first category of these illegal immigrants came from Africa, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. They were inspected and documented by the border and immigration officials in America when they entered America by sea, land or air. These legal non-immigrants then decided to overstay their visa durations in America and then became illegal immigrants.

The second category of illegal immigrants in America that are estimated to be about 60% of all the illegal immigrants in America did not enter into the United States with any issued visas and they were never interviewed by the America's visa officers at the America's embassies and consulates overseas nor were they officially inspected at their various entry ports (land, sea and air) into the United States by the United States border patrol and immigration officials. The second category of illegal immigrants came mainly from the two countries of Mexico and Canada that have porous borders with the United States. Some of them also came from the nations of the South American continent through the American-Mexican porous borders as well as from countries all over the world that have visa waiver programs with the United States.

The two major driving forces in 2013 for this comprehensive immigration reform in America are primarily the rapidly changing presidential demographics in America and the growing population of the Latino-Americans that both became too pronounced in the 2012 presidential election. President Barack Obama won 71% of the Latino-American votes as against his political rival Mitt Romney who won less than 30% of their votes, the lowest for any GOP presidential candidate since the election of President Ronald Reagan in 1980 to the White House. About 60, 000 Latino-Americans turn voting age of 18 years old every month which translates directly to about 4 million new votes in every presidential circle. The three traditional GOP southern states of Texas, Georgia and Arizona may soon become the new battleground states in the next presidential elections of 2016 or latest in the 2020 presidential election with the rapidly growing Latino-American populations in those states. No presidential candidates from the America's two national political parties can win the White House again in America without winning the massive votes of the Latino-Americans who are now a major national voting bloc in America presently. In conclusion, the battle line is now fully drawn by the Democrats and the Republicans to now go ahead and fight tooth and nail for the highly prized Latino-American votes and voters through this proposed comprehensive immigration reform that is all about politics and winning the White House in the future.

ARE YOU A PATRIOTIC NIGERIAN IN ALL TRUTH, HONESTY AND REALITY?

Many Nigerians at home and in the diaspora claim openly and publicly that they are patriotic Nigerians in all ramifications. Who is a true patriotic Nigerian in all truth, honesty and reality? Are Nigeria's elected officials truly patriotic? Do you have to serve in the government of Nigeria at any level of capacity either as an appointed public official or as an elected public official to be truly patriotic? Do you have to live inside Nigeria, pay your taxes to the Nigerian government and go through the daily national issues and challenges in Nigeria to be really patriotic? Are the 160 million ordinary Nigerian masses all patriotic? What is true patriotism in the context of the Nigerian nation as she is today?

An online website:www.skeptic.ca that is devoted to free thoughts defined patriotism to be the love for one's ancestry, culture or homeland. Patriotism is derived from the Greek word "kputrios" ("of one's fathers") or patris (one's fatherland"). The Oxford English Dictionary defines a patriot as "one who disinterestedly or self-sacrificingly exerts himself to promote the well-being of his country." A patriot is "one who maintains and defends his country's freedom or rights."

A patriotic Nigerian is a person who will boldly and openly point out the ills of the Nigerian nation to the Nigerians and her leaders. A patriotic Nigerian will always speak the hard truths to the powers that be in Nigeria whether it is politically correct, a popular thing to do or not to do. A patriotic Nigerian will not be cowed or indifferent when the state of the Nigerian nation is not working or functioning properly. A patriotic Nigerian will not be quiet or silent when the leaders of Nigeria are moving the nation toward the path of retrogression and destruction. A patriotic Nigerian will not use his or her public office to amass wealth illegally or intentionally mismanaged the wealth's nation. In conclusion, many of our best patriots in Nigeria today are the men or women that never went alongside with the government of the day in Nigeria when it comes to the most important national issues and policies that will affect Nigeria and her 160 million citizens or their future negatively. Are you one of the patriotic Nigerians or one of the traitors of Nigerian?

"NIGERIA IS MORE DIVIDED TODAY IN 2013 THAN THE 1914 AMALGAMATED NIGERIA"

Will Nigeria as a nation remain intact after the January 1, 2014 when she will be officially 100 years old? What is so secret, classified or too sensitive about the legal document that Lord Lugard used to amalgamate the Northern protectorate and the Southern protectorate together to become Nigeria in 1914 that made this legal document not to see the light of the day for the last 99 years since the formation of Nigeria? How can a nation survive and prosper if her 450 ethnic nationalities, many religious faiths and cultural groups that made up that nation did not have any political inputs in the formation of their own and only country that they live and know? Why is it that the present government in Nigeria have not publicly debunked the credible claims by many prominent Nigerians whether died or alive who said that a clause exists in that amalgamation document that said that Nigeria should last for only 100 years and any of her disgruntled region will be free to break away after the official expiration of her first 100 years as a country? Can Nigeria survive beyond 2014 when she is expected to be 100 years old without holding an independent Sovereign National Conference of her 450 ethnic nationalities, many religious faiths and cultural groups who were never allowed to decide their new terms of engagement at the amalgamation in 1914?

Even Lord Lugard the first Governor General who set up Nigerian nation and the founding fathers of Nigeria that fought for her independence in 1960 with the major universities, streets, public buildings, national currencies and postage stamps named in their memories did not believe in one Nigeria from the various comments made below about Nigeria:

As a result of the differences which our leaders pretend do not exist, Biafran independence was declared. MASSOB still cries for freedom, OPC brought its awareness, while MEND came with a new force. Now, it is Boko Haram-bombing everywhere and killing everyone in a bid to Islamize Nigeria. "THE FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS ABOUT MONEY THAT EVERYONE MUST KNOW"

Money is used all over the human universe as a legal tender. Most of the goods and services in the world today can be bought and paid for with money. Money is needed by all the members of the human family directly or indirectly. The amount of money that you have will directly determine your personal purchasing power and your individual standard of living. Every money in the world has personal or private ownership. Free money without any known ownership does not exist anywhere in this human universe in most cases. Money must always circulate for the local, national or international economic systems to stay vibrant and dynamic. The amount or the value of the money in circulation in any economy will determine the rate of inflation, the prices of goods and services in that economy. The wages and salaries that are paid to workers in a local economy will determine the level of poverty, the standard of living, the inflation rates and the purchasing power of the workers in that economy. Money can be lost and made in this life. Money can be saved or invested. Money can be made legally or illegally according to the laws that govern a particular economy or nation. Money can be in a fixed asset form or a circulating asset form.

Money is made in this life whenever services or goods are offered to meet the needs of individuals, organizations, businesses, corporations and governments. Money is made when those offered services are paid for with money. Governments make money through the collection of their various taxes from individuals, businesses and corporations. Money does not discriminate and it does not respect persons. Any member of the human family can make money when they follow the basic principles in life that govern how money is made. Money is equally useful and also equally needed by every member of the human family. All members of the human family are under the same economic and monetary systems. Humanity all live and operate in the same economic systems all over the world. The amount of money in the circulation in every country is officially determined, known, controlled and regulated by that nation's central financial authority.

Money can be made through employment, full ownership or joint ownership of a business enterprise, savings and investments. Money grows when it is saved in a bank with a savings account that has interest rate attached to it, invested in stocks, bonds, money markets, real estates, CDs or in any profitable business venture. There is nothing divine, sacred or supernatural about money in all reality. Money is worldly in origin,  it is also man-made and man controlled. Anybody can make money in this life whether you are an atheist or not, religious or not, a Christian or not, a faithful tither or not, a regular offering giver or not, white or not, black or not, Asian or not, Arab or not, Latino or not, mixed racial parents or not and young or not. No individual in any given nation can be richer than the entire GDP of that nation. No individual can have all the money in any country. The government in a given nation is always richer than the corporations and individuals in that nation. The value of money can appreciate or depreciate with time. The purchasing power of a money can also increase or decrease in any economic system.

DID KENNETH HAGIN SR PLAGIARIZE E.W. KENYON'S (1867-1948) BOOKS?

Did Kenneth Hagin Sr one of the founding fathers of the prosperity gospel or the modern Word of Faith movement heavily plagiarize the books of E. W. Kenyon (1867-1948)? E.W. Kenyon was an author who was influenced by the non-biblical doctrine that was known at that time as the "New Thought" or the "New Age Positive Thinking Spirituality". When confronted by his own publisher, Kenneth Hagin Sr could not deny these allegations. He said that "God" had given him those exact words also. The biggest question that is left unanswered on this subject matter is this:why would omniscience God gave Kenneth Hagin Sr the same exact words for words from the many books that were written earlier on by E.W. Kenyon who lived before Kenneth Hagin Sr and wrote his books first?

Plagiarism, Kenyon and the Word-of-Faith Movement

A few (8) samples of what is called ‘plagiarism’…

Kenneth Hagin apparently had no conscience about copying word for word
his “revelations” of the Word of Faith from Kenyon’s books, published some time earlier.
Kenyon’s own daughter, Ruth Kenyon Houseworth, easily recognizes her father’s message upon the lips of Faith leaders. She says:
“They’ve (Faith teachers) all copied from my dad. [E. W. Kenyon] They’ve changed it a little bit and added their own touch….but they couldn’t change the wording…These that are coming along now that have been in the ministry for just a few years and claiming that this is something that they are just starting, it makes you laugh a little bit. It’s very difficult for some people to be big enough to give credit to somebody else.” [ E.W. Kenyon, The Father and His Family, Lynnwood WA.: Kenyon's Gospel Publishing Society, 1964, p.118.]
A man who, on occasion, ministered with Kenyon was one time friend John Kennington, pastor of Emmanuel Temple in Portland, Oregon. He has this to say concerning the plagiarism of Kenyon’s teachings:
“Today Kenyon’s teachings are in the ascendancy. Via the electronic church or in the printed page I readily recognize not only Kenyon’s concepts, but at times , I recognize pure plagiarism, for I can almost tell you book, chapter and page where the material is coming from. Kenyon has become the ‘father’ of the so-called ‘Faith’ movement.”
